10 Marks of a Christian Entrepreneur

Principles in everyday entrepreneurial life.

*Friedrich Schock *

  1. He takes his bearings from the Word of God (according to the spirit and not the letter!) and seeks „guidance“ in prayer and in stillness.

  2. He accepts constant „course correction“ and is always ready for „bridge-building“ and forgiveness.

  3. He understands himself as: „a steward of the manifold gifts of grace“ (1 Peter 4:10)

  4. He draws his motivation from the self-understanding of being a „co-worker of God in HIS kingdom“ and „makes his entrusted talents bear fruit“.

  5. He acts not only legally, but legitimately. Theory and practice agree.

  6. He places the human being above short-term success.

  7. He places „character“ above „performance“. Truthfulness and integrity are for him the essential things.

  8. He thinks globally and acts locally. He keeps the whole in view.

  9. He places the company above the entrepreneur. The common good takes precedence over self-interest.

  10. He sees serving before earning and acknowledges his own mistakes.
