10 Marks of a Christian Entrepreneur
Principles in everyday entrepreneurial life.
*Friedrich Schock *
-
He takes his bearings from the Word of God (according to the spirit and not the letter!) and seeks „guidance“ in prayer and in stillness.
-
He accepts constant „course correction“ and is always ready for „bridge-building“ and forgiveness.
-
He understands himself as: „a steward of the manifold gifts of grace“ (1 Peter 4:10)
-
He draws his motivation from the self-understanding of being a „co-worker of God in HIS kingdom“ and „makes his entrusted talents bear fruit“.
-
He acts not only legally, but legitimately. Theory and practice agree.
-
He places the human being above short-term success.
-
He places „character“ above „performance“. Truthfulness and integrity are for him the essential things.
-
He thinks globally and acts locally. He keeps the whole in view.
-
He places the company above the entrepreneur. The common good takes precedence over self-interest.
-
He sees serving before earning and acknowledges his own mistakes.
